1) Powerpviot Service multi-server deployment considerations

Powerpviot service is not a SharePoint-brought services, you need to deploy PowerPivot for SharePoint in the SharePoint farm first to use the Powerpviot service. For more information, refer to Planning for PowerPivot deployment in a SharePoint farm.

If your SharePoint farm is a multi-server farm, you can deploy PowerPivot for SharePoint to multiple application servers in an extended manner. Requests for POWERPIVOT queries and data processing are divided into these application servers. The default method is to assign the cyclic method of the request sequentially, but you can change the allocation method to use server health.

If the Web front-end server is configured to host SharePoint Central Administration. After the application server deploys PowerPivot for SharePoint, you need to install adomd.net on the Web front-end server. Because PowerPivot for SharePoint adds the admin panel to the application, you must install the client library to make sure that the reports and Web parts on the panel are connected to the Panel data store.

If the Web front-end does not host SharePoint Central Administration, no action is required after the application server deploys PowerPivot for SharePoint.

If you are adding a new web front end to a SharePoint farm, you need to re-deploy the PowerPivot service services Add powerpivotfarm14solution.wsp within the management Farm solution in central administration

Powerpivotfarmsolution.wsp,powerpivotwebapplicationsolution.wsp these three farm solutions to allow PowerPivot data access to the newly added web front end

2) Install Powerpviot for Sharepoint

The first step is to run the SQL Server2012 installation software on the SharePoint farm server that needs to host the service instance

3) Configure Powerpviot for SharePoint

Then click Verify if verification does not go through please click on the left side to deploy the green banner row once troubleshooting, if the verification through the direct click Run
