When a search engine is used, if an error is accidentally entered or a word is not clearly remembered, the search engine will automatically correct the error:
This function can shorten the user's time and is very useful. In SharePoint 2013, you can configure Search dictionary to implement similar functions.
SharePoint 2013 maintains a spelling dictionary called default spelling dictionaries. This spelling dictionary is maintained by SharePoint and cannot be modified by users.
If you want to add your own spelling dictionary, configure it in Search Dictionaries.
Open the Search services application Management page in Central Administration, and click SearchDictionary in the lower left corner:
On the Term Store Management Tool page, SharePoint uses the ManagedMetadata Service to Store custom spelling check dictionaries.
There are two settings: Query Spelling comprehensions and Query Spelling exclusions.
Query Spelling comprehensions: the entry entered here. SharePoint automatically performs Spelling correction.
Query Spelling exclusions: the entry entered here. SharePoint will not perform automatic Spelling correction.
The same keyword can only exist in one of the lists and cannot exist at the same time.
It does not take effect immediately after it is filled in. There is a timer job in the SharePoint background, which runs every 10 minutes. Manually run the job, or wait for it to finish running. It will take effect when you search again.
