Shell Cut Command

Meaning: Split the file by column according to the delimiter

Syntax format: cut [options] ... [File] ...

-C, --characters by character

-F,--fields by column

-D,--delimiter specifies delimiter, default is tab (\ t)

Example: viewing file contents Cat Kimbo_test.txt

#1. Divide by space to print the second columnCut-F2-D" "Kimbo_test.SH #2. Split by Space, print second column, third columnCut-F2,3-D" "Kimbo_test.SH#3. Divide by space to print the second column to column fourthCut-F2-4-D" "Kimbo_test.SH
