With readability statistics, users can learn about the number of characters, paragraphs, and sentences contained in the Word2007 document to see how easy it is to read the document. The steps to display readability statistics in Word2007 are described below:
Step 1th, open the Word2007 document window, and click the Office Button → Word Options button, as shown in Figure 1.

Step 2nd, in the Open Word Options dialog box, switch to the Proofing tab, and then in the correct spelling and grammar in Word area, select the Show readability statistics check box, and click OK, as shown in Figure 2.

Step 3rd, open the Review ribbon, and click the Spelling and Grammar button in the proofing group to check spelling and grammar, as shown in Figure 3.

Step 4th, after you complete the spelling and grammar check, opens the Readability Statistics dialog box. The dialog box displays information such as number of characters, paragraphs, and number of sentences, as shown in Figure 4.
