Simple instructions for using SQL Server report Service

Reportservices as a report server, combined with SQL direct access to the database provides basic report formatting display, you can quickly develop reports, mainly consists of two parts:

1.reportservices Server configuration, the platform that hosts the report

2. Design the report

reportservices Configuration

1. go to report Services Manager

3. Create a reportserver database and apply it (ReportServer database is The default creation of the Reportservice runtime's underlying database )

4. Configure the Report Manager URL and apply

Design reports

1. Go to the report design interface

2. Right-click the report to add a new report (here is the boot setting), or right-click to add a data source, report

3. when you have finished adding, display the output columns and input parameters in the report data source on the right. Complete the report table design with the toolbox and drag the field to the appropriate location

4. After completing the report design, right-click the project --- properties to set

5. After entering the attribute interface , be careful to configure the Coarse font section,targetserverurl the Web service URL in the report service configuration

6. when the configuration is complete, right-click the project selection deployment, or you can right-click a single deployment if you modify the data source or report separately

Managing the Report Server

1. Open the browser input URL and go to Report Manager
