Send messages to other users

WriteUser

Wall

 

Write is used to send information to a user who has logged on to the system. wall can send information to all users who have logged on to the system.

 

Parameters

User IsWriteUsers who need to send information

 

Example Write

The above message is sent by Siu to Jack

 

Wall

The preceding message is sent by the root user to all online users.

 

Tips

1. As mentioned in the WHO Section, who-T can view the online user information

2. If you want to have a real-time conversation, you only need to use the write command on both sides.

3. mesg y or mesg n allows/disables normal users from sending messages to you through terminals
