Linux platform

Go to the bin directory of the client installation directory (CLIENT_HOME ).

$ Cd CLIENT_HOME/bin
Use the file command to verify the executable files
$ File sqlplus
Sqlplus: ELF 32-bit LSB executable, Intel 80386, version 1 (SYSV), for GNU/Linux 2.6.9, dynamically linked (uses shared libs), for GNU/Linux 2.6.9, not stripped

Windows Platform

After running exp or imp and other oracle client commands on a 64-bit machine,
Go to the task manager and check the process. The file name is followed by a 32-bit program. Otherwise, it is a 64-bit program.
