Simple samba Configuration

SAMBA is provided in almost all Linux distributions, because even if your Linux is only used as a personal desktop computer, you may still need to connect to remote Windows network, at that time, we had to use the client software provided by samba.

1 install 
Yum install samba-client

2 securlinux 
Setenforce 0
Iptables 
Service iptables stop

3 vi/etc/samba/smb. conf 
Security = share; passdb backend = tdbsam load printers = no; cups options = raw [public] comment = Public Stuff path =/home/samba public = no writable = yes browseable = yes

4 add user to samba 

Pdbedit-a-u root

5 start service

Service smb startservice nmb startchkconfig smb onchkconfig nmb on
