Cherokee is the fastest Web Server currently. The following describes how to install Cherokee in Ubuntu 9.04.
Access https://launchpad.net /~ Cherokee-webserver/+ archive/ppa find your source
Modify vi/etc/apt/sources. list

Import key first
# Apt-key adv -- keyserver keyserver.Ubuntu.com -- recv-keys EBA7BD49
# Apt-get update
# Apt-get install mysql-server-5.0 for mysql-client
Set the MySQL root User Password.
# Apt-get install php5-cgi
# Apt-get install php5-mysql
# Apt-get install cpp gcc g ++ make
# Apt-get install cherokee
It's not difficult to install it here. As a result, it took me a long time to complete this method.
Use Management Interface
Run
# Cherokee-admin-B
Login:

Then open the webpage. Port: http: // Your URL or ip: 9090
