I recently started to learn about the onvif protocol. Here we will record the learning progress.

1. Check whether devices in the LAN support the onvif Protocol
1. Install onvif Test Tool
I use test_tool_v13_06. If. NET Framework 3.5 is not installed on the PC, you will be prompted to install. NET Framework 3.5 first.
2. Use of onvif Test Tool
Open the software, select the IP address of the local machine as 192.168.2.231 (automatically displayed), click the Discover devices button, and search for the address of the front-end device in the same LAN that supports the onvif protocol, the UUID and IP address of each device obtained by H are displayed in the lower-right corner.
Select a device and click check to read the response IPC information, as shown in the following figure.
Click get to read the video stream information of IPC. See the big box on the right.
Click "get" to read the IPC code stream, select "RTP/RTSP/tcp" for most manufacturers, and click "play video" to retrieve the video stream.
