A friend who cares a little about tech news must know that Microsoft has just unveiled its next-generation operating system, Windows 10, and the technology Preview version of the system has been released for corporate users and enthusiasts. While Microsoft says Windows 10 has added a lot of functionality to many corporate users and premium customers, Microsoft's presentation of Windows 10 seems less comprehensive for ordinary consumers.

Now someone abroad has downloaded and installed the Windows 10 Technology Preview, and found some features that Microsoft didn't mention at the conference. Let's take a look at all the features we haven't seen before.

  1, IE12

Although IE12 will appear in Windows 10, we do not see it in this open Technology Preview. The question of when to meet with us is not yet certain, and it may not be seen until the consumer preview in early 2015.

  2. Notice Center

The absence of a notification system seems to us to be a bit of a surprise. You know that this feature has been exposed before and many developers are ready to develop applications that can take advantage of this feature, but Microsoft did not mention it in the press conference, although we all know it will definitely happen.

We suspect that Microsoft may be trying to get big names such as Facebook and Twitter to focus on developing this exclusive application, and that it will be months before the beginning of 2015 and enough time left for other developers.

  3, Cortana

Cortana Voice assistant We all know her presence, and we've seen her in the previous builds. Sadly, Microsoft has also decided to keep the "trump card" in order to bring more surprises in future consumer previews.

  4, no arm-related traces

On surface RT, Microsoft first introduced Windows RT, which supports the arm platform. But at the Windows 10 Conference, Microsoft did not mention windows on ARM at the press conference. However, given that Windows Phone will be integrated with the full platform, the end user experience may be very different from the current version of the OS.

  5. Price

It may be premature for Microsoft to discuss the business model of Windows 10. It is now 9 months before Windows 10 is officially released, so the price details for Windows 10 will become clearer over the next few days.

It is widely believed that Microsoft will allow Windows 8.1 of old users to upgrade free of charge, and Windows 7 users are expected to pay only 30 U.S. dollars (about 183 yuan) upgrade costs.

  6. CEO Satia Nadra

At the press conference, Microsoft CEO Satia Nadra did not appear as expected. Perhaps the company is trying to make it known that September 30 is not the "official release date" of the system, which is not too formal for Microsoft.

However, as a product line worth at least billions of dollars, the company has no reason to pay no attention to Windows 10. So even if its CEO is busy spreading around Asia, the system's promotional efforts will continue as usual.
