Vista SP2 Beta not for everyone
SP2 Beta, as the name suggests, is still in the development test phase. Microsoft only recommended "technology enthusiasts, developers, and IT experts" to participate in the test, the average user suggested waiting until the final release to upgrade, it will be released in the first half of 09. According to news reports, it may be released in April.
SP2 did have a major upgrade.
Windows Vista SP2 contains a number of improvements, mainly including the following:

Enhanced WiFi performance;
RSS side bar small device performance improvement;

SP2 allows you to improve your system performance by including the following improvements:
Support via the latest 64-bit CPU;
Support exFAT, let the user easily processing large files, through the UTC timestamp can achieve file synchronization across time zone;
Improve power management, improve efficiency by 10%;
It also fixes some of the original bugs in the system, including issues such as slow shutdown and software crashes.
You must install SP1 before installing SP2
Like most service packs before Microsoft, if you don't have SP1 installed in advance, then SP2 can't be installed.
Everything is hard at the beginning
Microsoft previously released a Windows service pack that was a minor mistake, and it was made up by a system patch released later. So that's why Microsoft lets users wait until the official release.
The service pack is better compared to the previous one
Microsoft is trying to do better than SP1 SP2 features. The service pack can be used at the same time on Vista and Windows 2008 server, and it also includes Ervice Pack clean-up Tool, which can help users to save hard disk space by cleaning up unwanted system files after installing SP2.
