Press and hold the shortcut key: Command+option+shift+esc A or two seconds force exit the app that the foreground is running.
Bring up the Force Quit application window
Through the shortcut key: Command+option+esc call up the system "Force quit the Application" window, and then select the name of the app you want to quit, click the "Force Exit" button.
Force quit an app from the Dock bar
Hold the Option key and right-click the Dock Bar app icon and click the "Force Quit" option that appears. (This can also be done by clicking the button first)
Force quit an app from the Apple menu
Press and hold the Shfit key and click the Apple icon in the System menu bar of , click "Force quit [app name]".
Using Activity Monitor
Run Activity Monitor, select the process name or ID of the app that you want to force quit, and then tap quit process. (normally unresponsive app processes are labeled red)
Using the terminal KILL command
If the above 5 methods fail, you might want to try the Kill: Terminal KILL command!
