Six ways to force an exit application in Mac OS X

Use keyboard shortcuts to force exiting MAC programs in Active state

Shortcut keys: Command+option+shift+esc

Holding down for two seconds can force you to quit the current program, which is one of the most convenient methods.

Open the Force Exit program window

Using shortcut keys: Command+option+esc

To open the "Force Quit Application" window, and then select the program you want to exit, and then click "Force Exit" at the bottom right.

Hold option and then right-click the program's icon in the dock, and you can see the "force out" options.

This is somewhat similar to the second, from the upper left corner of the  menu, select "Force exit", but sometimes the program when the machine, click the menu will appear unresponsive.

To force an exit program by using Activity Monitor

Find Activity Monitor in the application-utility, find the name of the program, and then select the red button on the top left to force the exit program, which is similar to the Task Manager in Windows. If none of the above methods work, you can try this method.

 To force an exit program by using terminal commands

This should be the last option before restarting the computer, enter the following command in the terminal:

Killall [Program Name]

For example, Force quit Safari, enter Killall Safari to return to, so that all the process about safari exit; If you want to split the finer, you can use PS or PS aux command to find some separate, and then using kill-9 [PID] to separate End a process

In many cases, you may be forced to quit the program, and the previous content might not be there.

Finally, talk about the forced exit program on the iOS device: Press and hold the top power button until a prompt shuts down the slider, then release the power button and hold down the home key until the program exits.
