Skype for Business 2015 Combat Series 2: Install Active Directory

Starting today, we are officially in the deployment phase of Skype for Business 2015, and before deployment begins, let's take a look at our list of environments:

Friends familiar with Microsoft products know that many of Microsoft's services require ad support, such as Exchange, System Center, and so on. The SFB that we are going to introduce to you today is no exception, and SFB and ad are tightly coupled. SFB needs to use AD to authenticate the user, and the Active Directory schema needs to be extended when the SFB is deployed. The extension of the Active Directory architecture is actually the addition of classes and attributes in Active Directory to meet the needs of their deployment. To log on to the Active Directory server, first look at the computer name and IP address:

Tick "Active Directory Domain Services" in the Select Server role location:

OK, click Install:

When the installation is complete, click Promote this server to a domain controller:

Because this server is the first domain controller in my current environment, select "Add a New Forest" here and enter the root domain, where I use Ss.lab and click Next:

Select the forest functional level and domain functional level that is appropriate for you, and then specify the directory Restore mode password, and click Next:
