5. Step 1: Install prerequisite software for Office Web Apps Server
On Windows Server 2012 R2
1. Install the following software:

2. Open a Windows PowerShell prompt as an administrator and run this command example to install the required roles and services.

If prompted, restart the server.
6. Step 2: Install Office Web Apps Server and related updates
Mount-ISO:

1) Download Office Web Apps Server from the Volume Licensing Service Center (VLSC). You must have a license for Office Professional Plus 2013, Office Standard 2013, or Office for Mac 2011 under a volume license agreement to download Office Web Apps Server. The download location is under the Office product in the VLSC portal.
2) Do one of the following:
For Windows Server 2012 or Windows Server 2012 R2, open the .img file directly and run Setup.exe.
For Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1, use a program that can load or extract .img files, and then run Setup.exe.
3) On the "Read Microsoft Software License Terms" page, select "I accept the terms of this agreement" and then select "Continue".
4) On the Choose File Location page, select the folder where you want to install Office Web Apps Server files (for example, C: \ Program Files \ Microsoft Office Web Apps), and then select Install Now. If the folder you specified does not exist, the installer will create it for you.
5) After the installer finishes installing Office Web Apps Server, select Close.
6) Download and install Office Web Apps Server SP1 (recommended for Windows Server 2012 and Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1. Must be used for Windows Server 2012 R2.)
Note:
If you plan to apply Office Web Apps Server SP1 in the future, follow the instructions in Applying software updates to Office Web Apps Server.
7) Check the list of TechNet Update Centers for Office, Office Server, and related products to check if there are the latest updates for Office Web Apps Server.
Note:
If you don't have Office Web Apps Server SP1 installed, apply KB2810007.
7. Step 3: Install language packs for Office Web Apps Server
With the Office Web Apps Server 2013 Language Pack, users can view web-based Office files in multiple languages from SharePoint 2013 document libraries, Outlook Web Access (as an attachment preview), and Lync 2013 (as a PowerPoint broadcast). To install a language pack, follow these steps.
1) Download Office Web Apps Server from the Microsoft Download Center.
2) Run WebAppsServerLP_en-us_x64.exe.
3) On the Read Microsoft Software License Terms page in the Office Web Apps Server Language Pack 2013 Wizard, select I accept the terms of this agreement, and then choose Continue.
4) After the installer finishes installing Office Web Apps Server, select Close.
8. Deploy an Office Web Apps Server farm
Deploy an Office Web Apps Server server farm using HTTPS with one server.
This Office Web Apps Server farm will provide Office Web Apps features to SharePoint 2013, Lync Server 2013, and Exchange Server 2013.
