After the iOS, Android, and Mac platforms, Skype for Windows 8 began to support the video message function.

In October February this year, Skype started testing its new video message function, which supports iOS, Android, and Mac platforms. Recently, the Skype desktop version has also updated the video message function. Now, the Windows 8 version of Skype that can preview the video message function has been available in the app store.

Skype users can use this function to record video messages within three minutes and send them to friends. When they go online, they will be able to see your video message. This is not a free feature, but part of the Skype Premium package. The first 20 videos are free of charge. After that, you must pay a monthly fee of 4.99 US dollars to become a Skype advanced edition user.
