$ tar zxf readline-5.2.tar.gz
$ CD READLINE-5.2/
$./configure--host=arm-linux--prefix=$ (pwd)/_install
$ make
$ make Install

The meaning of/configure--host=arm-linux--prefix=$ (pwd)/_install

$./configure The following two are the parameters that are given when you run configure

--host=arm-linux Operating Environment (cross-compiled into arm)

--prefix=$ (PWD)/_install installation directory Specifies the installation directory if not specified is installed in the default directory,/usr/local

PWD is the current user directory.
