In order to stimulate the interest of Web designers in CSS3, Smashing Magazine organized a CSS3 Design Competition last month. In the end, five designers won the award. The award reflects the originality and uniqueness of the CSS3 technique, it also demonstrates the powerful functions of CSS3. First place: CSS3 chart

This design has tested the application of CSS3 in charts without using any JavaScript or images. The powerful selector functions of CSS3 are used: nth-child and: target. At the same time, transition and gradient technologies are used, which are designed by Sean Oh from the United States.
Second place: CSS3 cube

Although it may not be good to use rubik's cube to implement navigation in a specific application, it can be used as an idea for works display sites. The transition and gradient techniques of CSS3 are used. Designed jointly by Francesco Benanti and Maicol Zenatti from Italy.
Third place: CSS3 3D

If you have 3D glasses, you can look at this 3D effect and support any modern browser, or even iPhone, designed by simurai from the Netherlands.
Fourth place: CSS3 Robot
CSS3 Monsters Blob [Preview | download]
With the move of the mouse, the glasses of the robot are also rotating, designed by Sebastien Plaignaud from France.
Fifth place: CSS3: Time cracks
CSS3 A Rift in Time [Preview | download]
CSS3 supports rotation. we can experiment with reverse-traditional skewed navigation, designed by Maxwell Burton from the United States.
