Viewpoint 1: The detailed design document is of little significance, and the code is the best detailed design.

Viewpoint 2: refactoring improves the design of existing code and subverts the traditional software engineering theory.

Viewpoint 3: design is part of the software development process and must evolve with the evolution of the program. Therefore, it is strictly necessary to design the code first and then encode the code.
