Software Quality Target Measurement

The quality objectives should be reviewed before the end of each stage. If the quality objectives are not met, this stage cannot be concluded. The standard for the end of the encoding phase is: all functions are implemented, CodeComments rate ≥ 20%, codereview and unit test meet or exceed the quality target requirements. The core part code review defect rate (per kloc) is ≥3, and the 50 K code is 3 × 50 = 150 defects.
Unit Test defect rate (count/kloc) ≥ 1.5

Product integration defect rate (quantity/kloc) = 4
System testing defect rate (items/kloc) = 5 requirement for total defect rate before release ≥ (3 + 1.5 + 4 + 5) = 13.5/kloc do not leave too many problems for product integration and system testing. The more problems left for later stages, the higher the rework cost.
