Solaris alom1.6 SC Password Reset

Today, I encountered a strange problem. I have never set the SC password. I just need to input it so that I can enter the SC. My TMD is very popular.

Fortunately, you don't need to use the SC password before entering the console, or you have to enter the OK mode.

 

Take a note and reset the SC password of scadm on the console.

Write it down to make it easy for you:

1 Root @ V125 :/   # /Usr/platform/'uname-I '/sbin/scadm userpassword Admin

Here, 'uname-I 'indicates the model of the current Solaris machine. You can run 'uname-I' in the console to see what it is. You can also write it directly.

What surprised me was that I bought the v125 machine. After running the command, I found it was v210 and fainted on the spot ....

 

Back to the question, after the above operation is complete, you can reset the SC "admin" password.
