If we are buying products from overseas VPS host providers and the SolusVM panel happens to be used, we can see an English interface after logging on to the panel. Based on our common operation habits, you can switch between Simplified Chinese and English.
It depends on whether the seller has a simplified Chinese package. If not, we still use English, because it is not difficult to see this article. Lao Jiang saw a simplified Chinese package in the SugarHosts VPS host. He didn't see it in Ramnode just now. Let's use English.
Here, Lao Jiang has a tips:For example, if you have purchased multiple servers, you must log on to the SolusVM panel to view the list of purchased VPS instances, however, we will find that the password sent to the mailbox is different every time we purchase a new machine. In fact, we cannot log on to the SolusVM panel with this new password, you must use the first password or the password we modified for the first time to log on. I started to log on with the new password every time.
2. VPS information of SolusVM panel
If we have multiple VPS hosts, select one of them to enter the current details.
We can see the IP address, memory, hard disk, traffic, and other configuration information of the current VPS host from the information panel.
The information here is very important. We use REBOOT to restart the machine, REINSTALL to install the system release version, and use the VNC Remote Link when installing the WINDOWS system. Third, SolusVM panel tab operation guide
If we need to manually mount the release version system and the user who needs to install the Windows system needs to use it here, for example, the boot order of the boot order needs to be set, network Card and Disk Driver must be set. If we forget or need to reset the root password, we can use the REBOOT/admin password in the tag to reset the PASSWORD.
4. SolusVM reinstall the system
We usually choose a system release version when purchasing VPS, but sometimes it is not what we need, and we need to change it, REINSTALL is usually used to install a new system or REINSTALL the system. Click REINSTALL and select the version.
Here, we can choose from the existing options and click the REINSTALL button at the bottom to execute the command. Generally, a new ROOT password will be displayed at the prompt, and we will copy the record, after the installation is complete, we need to log on to SSH. If you cannot remember, you can reset a new ROOT password based on the above method.
To sum up, as long as we can see the basic traffic usage information in the SolusVM panel, the basic functions of the system will be reinstalled, just like when we use the cPanel panel, we basically only need to create additional domains and MYSQL databases, and basically do not need panel functions later.
