Solution improvements to waiting for root device during upgrade from VMware to 10.7.2

According to magicman's post (Http://www.pcbeta.com/archiver/tid-931542.html) For posts on the insanelymac website, I have sorted out an improvement method:
Magicman's post said that the system/library/extensions/applelsifusionmpt of the previously backed up 10.7.1 (or 10.7) will not be restarted after the upgrade to 10.7.2. replace kext with 10.7.2, but in fact,
If you use the software update function of MAC lion, after you download 10.7.2, either restart or cancel (update is not installed ),
It is impossible to give you a chance to replace applelsifusionmpt. kext after the installation is complete.

How can this problem be solved?

In fact, we only need to back up the virtual machine hard disk (located in the Virtual Machine directory) before the upgrade (10.7 or 10.7.1)
Xxx. vmdk file, that is, the largest file with several GB). Assume that this file is called orig_lion.vmdk, and then
The hard disk has been upgraded to the Linux Virtual Machine 10.7.2 (named new_72_lion) and mounted to the orig_lion virtual machine,
The method is:

1. Rename new_72_lion.vmdk under the updated Virtual Machine to new_72_lion_bak.vmdk;
2. Copy the backup orig_lion.vmdk to the new_72_lion VM folder and change it to new_72_lion.vmdk;
3. Modify the "new_72_lion" Virtual Machine Under VMware,
Edit virtual machine settings --> hardware --> Add... --> hard disk --> next -->
Use an existing virtual disk --> next --> select new_72_lion_bak.vmdk in step 1;
4. Start the "new_72_lion" Virtual Machine with hjmac;
5. After the instance is started, change the volume name of the Local Machine (that is, the Mac before the upgrade) (assumed as my Mac), for example, to old Mac, and then
You can see two volumes in the/volumes Directory: Old Mac and my Mac (upgraded to the Lion of 10.7.2 ),
Replace local/system/library/extensions/applelsifusionmpt. kext with my Mac
/System/library/extensions/location,
6. Disable virtual machines
7. Remove the hard disk added in step 3 from the VM settings.
8. Delete new_72_lion.vmdk In the VM folder (actually the VM file before the upgrade, refer to Step 1 to rename the file)
9. Change new_72_lion_bak.vmdk to new_72_lion.vmdk;
10. Restart the VM!

I wish you all an early chance to enjoy 10.7.2!
