This is okay. I want to say that the new version of the kit should fix this problem, but it just happens that all the Linode machines will be re-opened and it will be blown up.
If this problem occurs, the machine cannot be re-opened. After simply entering the repair mode, the data is backed up and reinjected into Debian to solve the problem. For more information, see this article, see if this solution can be used ~
Note 1: to enter the repair mode in Linode, you can see this article: Rescue and Rebuild-Linode Guides & Tutorials
Note 2: in Rescue mode, the network is set to accessible, but the DNS is not available. Add nameserver 8.8.8.8.8 to/etc/resole. conf.
In Ubuntu Linux 12.04, does procps cause dependency between udev and mountall? Abrupt solution
This problem occurs mainly because the Package of procps is not properly packaged. It can be seen that Bug #891369 "package procps. 2.8-11ubuntu2 failed to install/...": Bugs: procps package: Ubuntu
The solution is to directly use the new procps suite (procps. 2.8-11ubuntu3 deb or procps. 2.8-11ubuntu4 deb)
Solution steps
Procps suite URL: 1: 3.2.8-11ubuntu3: procps: amd64: Precise (12.04): Ubuntu
Wget http://launchpadlibrarian.net/85319332/procps_3.2.8-11ubuntu3_amd64.deb
Vim/etc/sysctl. conf # if there is any modification, restore it back first
Sudo dpkg-I -- force-all procps_3.2.8-11ubuntu3_amd64.deb
Sudo apt-get upgrade # The above error message is complete without it
Note: after a machine removes the unused kernel, you can install it in upgrade. You can try to see it (the reason is not clear, maybe it is lucky)
