Solution: Oracle cannot be started at 10 Gb under asianux3

This is a brief note and only serves as a memo.

1. Receive a consulting phone number in the morning: Oracle cannot be started in Linux. We will try to solve the problem at the site in the afternoon.

2. After arriving at the site, learn the basic information as follows:

*. Operating System: asianux3

*. Database: Oracle 10g R2 for Linux x86-64

*. Problem: After the server is migrated to the new data center, the previously installed Oracle database cannot be used normally. When the client connects to the server, a listener error is reported.

3. The problem was found a few days ago.

After arriving at the scene, we found that the listener. ora, sqlnet. ora, and tnsnames. ora files on the server had been completely modified.

Try to restore one by one.

4. After the preceding file is modified and restored, the dbconsole of Oracle cannot be started.

An error is reported when you use the emctl status dbconsole or E mctl start dbconsole command:

Enter the configuration file.
/Opt/APP/Oracle/product/10.2.0/db_1/Solaris/J2EE/oc4j_dbconsole_localhost_orcl not found.

5. Because the new office building is being renovated, the new IDC has not been connected to the external network. If you cannot use your laptop for online queries, you have to use your mobile phone.

Generally, the Oracle service cannot be started because the machine name of the server bound to Oracle is modified.

However, after the server is relocated, only the IP address is modified and the machine name is not modified.

Confused for a moment.

6. The system is currently being tested and deployed, and there is no data in the database.

After obtaining the consent, we decided to reinstall oracle.

7. After you uninstall Oracle, use oranavi for a new installation.

The previous installation was successful. During the environment detection phase, the network device reports an "not executed" message. Ignore and continue.

When the number of database instances created reaches 74%, an exception occurs:

The Null Value of the port parameter is invalid.

See the log files in/opt/APP/Oracle/product/10.2.0/db_1/export toollogs/dbca/orcl/emconfig. log.

An error occurred while installing the database instance. After confirming, continue to Complete Oracle installation.

After the installation is complete, it is found that tnsnames. ora should have been a port of 1521, which says "null": Port = NULL.

8. port 1521 is suspected to be occupied. Or port 1521 is not explicitly specified in a configuration file or Oracle user's environment variable.

Tossing.

After a circle, no valuable clues were found.

Instead, use dbca to create a second database instance for testing and installation.

If the same problem occurs, an exception is thrown when the database instance is created to 74%: the null value of the port parameter is invalid.

9. confined to the environment. Continue searching for problems on the Internet with your mobile phone.

I finally found someone encountered a similar problem more than two months ago. The Host IP configuration may be incorrect in the/etc/hosts file.

Open the/etc/hosts file to view the information.

Sure enough, in addition to the IP address of 127.0.0.1, an old host IP address bound to the server before the server relocation is also set in the/etc/hosts file.

10. After changing to the correct IP address, uninstall the installed Oracle database.

After the installation is complete, everything is OK!

In the stage of environment detection, no exception exists and all exceptions pass.

11. This is the first time Asianux is used. I do not know how to write the default host configuration when installing/etc/hosts in the system.

Open redflag Linux and find that there is only one row in/etc/hosts by default:

127.0.0.1 localhost. localdomain localhost

-----------

This configuration uses 127.0.0.1 as the hostip and does not bind it to the real IP address of the system. The IP address can be modified without any impact on the Oracle server.

In Asianux, multiple Host IP addresses appear in/etc/hosts.

Apparently, the oralce service is affected because the IP address of the server is modified. When modifying the Server IP address, you must also modify the Host IP Address used in the/etc/hosts file.

(I have not yet learned whether the old IP address of this host was manually added after the system is installed, or is it related to the Asianux operating system? To be confirmed and verified .)

12. In Linux,/etc/host is the host name and IP configuration file.

The following content can be configured in the/etc/hosts file:

Generally, each line of text in the hosts file represents a host configuration.

Each line of text consists of three parts separated by spaces:

Part 1: network IP address

Part 2: Host Name or domain name

Part 3: Host Name alias

In addition, each line of text can also be two parts, namely the Host IP address and host name, for example, 192.168.1.100 linuxserver.

Command to display host name and Host IP Address:
