In the last two days, I wrote an automatic upgrade function for the s60 software. After the sisfile is downloaded, it is automatically installed. However, the software does not automatically exit when exit () is called, the subsequent installation fails. However, if you call the sisfile from the menu for installation, the program can automatically exit.
Later, I used various methods for testing and found that the problem was probably due to the fact that the software had a download progress bar when downloading the sisfile. If this progress window is not closed, the software cannot exit automatically, and it is useless to call exit.
Writing software for s60 is so confusing that there are too many problems, documents and their lack are too annoying.
