Solution to conflicts between Ubuntu input method and Opera shortcut keys

I. Use the ibus Input Method

1. Select system-management-language support, complete installation of Simplified Chinese, and select ibus as the keyboard input mode.

2. Open opera. In the menu, choose tools-preference-advanced-Shortcut Key. In the keyboard settings bar, select opera standard, create a copy, select a copy, and click Edit. In the search box, type space ctrl, find the corresponding project, click Delete, save, and restart the computer.

Ii. Use scim Input Method

1. Open the terminal and use the following command line to install scim

Sudo su-# prompt need root password # apt-get install scim apt-get install scim-bridge-client-qt4 apt-get install scim-qtimm apt-get install scim-sunpinyin # add Chinese Module # gedit/ usr/bin/opera

2. Add QT_IM_MODULE = scim XMODIFIERS = "@ im = SCIM" and save the settings.

The remaining steps are similar to those above.
