Oracle SQL Developer 3.1.07.42 is installed in Linux Mint 12 (see). Specifically, the mouse stops on a menu, and the last menu is actually selected. Sometimes you cannot open the menu by clicking the mouse. You need to press and hold the mouse to open the menu. Sometimes you can't open the menu at all, and there are a series of strange symptoms.

This is caused by AWT problems,

Solution: edit the/opt/sqldeveloper/ide/bin/ide. conf file.

Sudo gedit/opt/sqldeveloper/ide/bin/ide. conf

(Enter the root password) and add the following line:

AddVMOption-Dawt. toolkit = sun. awt. motif. MToolkit

Save the file.
