Solution to "HTTP Error 500.23-Internal Server Error" in IIS7

 

When you use the Windows 7 operating system for IIS configuration, an error occurs during website configuration.

In addition to installing IIS, check all the items in Internet Information Service. After configuring the website, configure the default website page and click Advanced Settings on the right, change the Application Pool to Classic. net AppPool

After this configuration, the website can run.

Today, I encountered this problem when I deployed the site in IIS7.5 from the development environment to Windows 7. Now I have posted my solution.

 

 

Solution: 1. Open ISS and find "Advanced Settings" in the list on the right to open Advanced Setting. Find the "Application Pool" Application Pool column.

The following describes two solutions:

Method 1: Set the Application pool to "Classic. Net AppPool;

Method 2: find the name of the corresponding Application pool. Here is demosite. On the IIS homepage, find "Application Pools" and open "demosite" in the intermediate list ", change the Managed pipeline mode from Integrated to Classic. If the problem is solved!
