Solution to iPhone simulator disappearance

Source: Internet

Long long time ago, I meet a problem that is:

The iPhone simulator cannot survive. The program log shows that everything is running normally and the device debugging is normal.

Because my iPad simulator is easy to use, select the simulator, and choose-Ios Simulator-Restore content and settings on the top menu bar. What surprised me is that the iPad simulator is gone... (In this case, take a look at the last step)

Cause: the iPhone/iPad simulator ran out of the screen. Maybe it was a casual drag, and the simulator could no longer return to the visible area of the screen.

Solution:

First, modify the screen resolution, system preference settings-display-resolution to the maximum. If you are lucky, you will find that your simulator will show a head at the edge of the screen and drag it out. If the current resolution is the largest, take a look at the second one.

Next, reinstall xcode:

Delete xcode4:
Open the terminal and enter:

Sudo/developer/library/uninstall-devtools -- mode = all

Delete cocos2d: Delete the cocos2d directory in the following directory

/Users/yunyi3g2/library/developer/xcode/templates

You need to know that the default path of xcode4 is stored in developer. If you want to uninstall another version of xcode, type xcode in Spotlight (search in the upper-right corner of the Mac screen) and open the xcode to be uninstalled, right-click xcode in the dock -- option -- display in the finder, right-click the top of the pop-up finder window, and you will see the path of xcode to be uninstalled. Generally, you will see release 3.x. in the delete statement, replace the red developer path and run it. You need to enter the user password. Reinstall. If you are lucky, xcode restores the default value, but I have tried it. The xocde configuration has not changed, including the font size and background color during editing. However, I'm glad that after the reinstallation, the amazing version of my iPad simulator appeared, and the iPhone simulator was still released. But you can continue to look at it.

Finally, I had a hard time thinking about a clever way to open a project, select an iPad simulator, run it, and then click your iPad simulator, choose iPhone (retina) from the top menu-hardware-device-and return the simulator used in your project to the iPhone Simulator for running, our goal is to bring up the retina-mode iPhone simulator. If we are lucky enough to see it, we will drag it out and beat it. If you are not lucky, don't worry. The last move is the IOS simulator menu --
Hardware -- rotate to the left or to the right, and rotate the iPhone simulator in retina mode. 9.9 Chengdu can be displayed. If not, visit other websites for solutions, or by email to Apple's xcode development engineers, how can we not restore the simulator's initial position!
