Solution to JAVAHL error when installing Subclipse in ADT in Ubuntu 13.04

First of all to determine the subclipse version, the current latest version is 1.10.x, the corresponding subversion is 1.8.x, the relationship is as follows: http://subclipse.tigris.org/wiki/JavaHL#head-5ccce53a67ca6c3965de863ae91e2642eab537de

Currently, the subversion of the Ubuntu 13.04 Application Center is: subversion 1.7.5-1ubuntu3. 1. Therefore, subclipse of 1.10.x cannot be installed.

Install subclipse1.8.x, eclipse-> install new software --> add subclipse1.8.x address. After pending, select and install all sub-items.

After you restart eclipse, a javahl search error occurs. error message:

Failed to load JavaHL Library.These are the errors that were encountered:no libsvnjavahl-1 in java.library.pathno svnjavahl-1 in java.library.pathno svnjavahl in java.library.pathjava.library.path = /usr/java/packages/lib/amd64:/usr/lib64:/lib64:/lib:/usr/lib

Solution

If you do not need to use JavaHL, Subclipse also provides a pure-Java svn api library -- SVNKit (http://svnkit.com ). just install the SVNKit client adapter and library plugins from the Subclipse update site and then choose it in the preferences under Team> SVN.

Go to Eclipse> Preferences> Team> SVN Under "SVN interface", choose client"SVNKit (Pure Java) SVNKit v. xx". Worked for me.

I can do this. If not, try restarting Eclipse.
