Solution to machine check error reported by livecd during USB flash disk Mass Production

Source: Internet
Author: User

Recently, fedora and Ubuntu livecd are produced using a USB flash drive.

Result: The machine check error is reported on my computer.

No error found in 4g usb flash drive

The 8 gb usb flash drive fails to start the machine check error.

After research, we found that the size of the FAT32 disk cluster is incorrect in Linux formatting.

The solution is to format it in Windows 7, select 4096 for the disk cluster, and then use fedora usblivecreater for mass production.

Currently, virtual machine testing shows that the disk cluster size cannot be selected for XP, 2003, and Ubuntu disk tools.

Currently, you can only format FAT32 using the Windows 7 disk tool.

Question 2: You can change the USB port to another one.

USB ports have priority. If you change one, it will be OK.
