Recently, I heard of the "cabir" virus on the mobile phone Report, which is displayed as "Caribe" when the mobile phone is running. Therefore, experts call it the "cabir" virus, which uses Bluetooth to infect each other between mobile phones running the Symbian system. After being poisoned, the mobile phone starts the Bluetooth function to search for other mobile phones that have enabled the Bluetooth function. After the virus is found, it is packaged into a security file and uploaded to the machine that has enabled the Bluetooth function. When the mobile phone is turned on, the message "Caribe" is displayed on the screen. This virus can be used to modify the Symbian system.
A friend's QD has been infected with the "Kabir virus". I will share with you the solution. Hope to help you.
Step 1: Load QD into seleq software;
Step 2: Search for the CARIBE file under drive C: SYSTEMAPP (not all machines can find the file, this file is not found, but the Bluetooth function is not enabled when the virus is running)
Step 3: delete the CARIBE. APP; CARIBE. RSC and FLO. MDL files under C: SYSTEMSYMBIANSECUREDATACARIBESECUREITYMANAGER.
Step 4: Delete the C: SYSTEMINSTALLCARIBE. sisfile.
Note the following when deleting a file:
1. When other files cannot be deleted after the APP file is deleted, restart QD to delete the files.
2. When you delete the INSTALLCARIBE. sisfile, the system will prompt "hidden cannot be deleted". Even if it is restarted, it will not be deleted. In this case, you only need to modify the attributes of the. sisfile to hide, close, and delete the file.
After all the above files are deleted, the "Cabir" virus is completely cleared.
The above is my personal experience in eliminating the "Cabir" virus. If you have a better method, please send it up and let's discuss it together to protect the health of your mobile phone.
