Solution to ODBC error created by SQLSERVER SQLState: '123' solution, sqlstate01000

The error details are as follows:

SQLState: '20140901'

SQL Server Error: 14

[Microsoft] [odbc SQL Server Driver] [DBNETLIB] ConnectionOpen

(Invalid Instance ()).

Connection Failed:

SQLState: '20140901'

SQL Server Error: 14

[Microsoft] [odbc SQL Server Driver] [DBNETLIB] the connection is invalid.

 

Solution:

In the step of creating an ODBC data source, click "client configuration" to check the dynamic port selection check box and set the port to 1433, that is, the actual port of your SQLSERVER.
