What is phpnow?

Free green Apache + PHP + MySQL environment package in win64.
Simple installation and quick setup of PHP environments supporting virtual hosts. With the PNCP. CMD control panel, you can quickly configure your suite for ease of use.

The following information appears at the last step of installation (but it is okay in XP)

Installing Apache... The installation of the Service [Apache_pn] fails. The possible reasons are as follows: 1. The service name already exists. Uninstall or use different service names. 2. the Windows NT Service cannot be operated because it is not administrator privilege. -Press any key to continue...

 

It seems to be a permission issue.

Solution: 1.run cmd.exe with the administrator ID. you can find cmd.exe under "C:/Windows/system32.pdf", right-click and select "Run as administrator", or right-click CMD in the Start Menu running search box. The cmd icon appears in the program bar above the menu, right-click and choose "Run as administrator ". 2. Find the phpnow directory and run init. cmd. For example: (you can right-click and paste the directory in cmd)

C:/Windows/system32> Cd D:/program files (x86)/phpnow

C:/Windows/system32> D:

D:/program files (x86)/phpnow> init
