Solution to shutdown-hnow failure

Solution for shutdown-hnow failure to shut down the machine-Linux general technology-Linux technology and application information. The following is a detailed description. Shutdown-h now cannot be shut down. if it is a Ubuntu system, follow these steps.

1. Reboot your pc, after bios messages, when you see the Grub row and then press ESC key

2. Select the kernel row and press edit select

3. Select the "kernel/boot/..." row and press "e" to edit this row

4. add the acpi = force parameter at the end of the row

5. then press "enter" and then press "B" to boot

6. use sudo gedit/boot/grub/menu. lst

Find # defoptions = nosplash, remove the comment to make it take effect, and add acpi = force parameter at the end of the line.

7. save and exit.

Update Grub type

Sudo update-grub

9. Use shutdown-h now to try again. Is it OK.
