Solution to video playback failure using mplayer in Fedora8

Solution:
1. cd/usr/share/applications/

2. ls-a/view your mplayer startup profile, my livna-mplayer.desktop

3. vi livna-mplayer.desktop

Change exec = gmplayer % U to exec = gmplayer % 1% f.

Resolution: % U is the URL and % f file name. It is estimated that this is an issue with the url Parsing Library and we look forward to revising it.
