So how do I set "embed TrueType fonts"?

One, PowerPoint 2003 settings

Open a PowerPoint file, click the (Tools) button in the menu bar, select Options in the Drop-down menu, open the Options dialog box, switch to the Save tab, and select the Embed TrueType fonts option.

Second, PowerPoint 2007 settings

Open a PowerPoint file, click the Office Button, select the PowerPoint Options command at the bottom of the Drop-down menu, open the PowerPoint Options dialog box, switch to the Save menu, and select the Embed fonts in File option.

Third, PowerPoint 2010 settings

Open a PowerPoint file, click the File tab, select Options in the Drop-down menu, and the System opens the Options dialog box, switches to the Save menu, and selects the Embed fonts in File option.

The problem is, "Embedding TrueType fonts" has two options, what's the difference?

First embedded font--only characters that are used in the presentation are embedded (for reduced file size)

This embedded font does not affect the viewer's viewing, but it can affect the changes to the PPT, such as modifying the text he will automatically replace it with the default Chinese font on the computer instead of the special font you embed.

Second embedded font--embed all characters (fit for other people to edit)

This embedded font will be embedded in the entire PPT of the font library, which is equivalent to installing the font in your PPT, so you will naturally display the modified text of this embedded font.

To reduce the size of your presentation, select the Embed TrueType fonts option, and then select the "Use characters in presentation only" option, and then click OK to close the Options dialog box.
