When a VMware virtual machine is started with an operating system, the following prompts appear
  1. Cannot connect virtual device floppy0. No corresponding device is available on the host.
  2. Would you a attempt to is made to connect this virtual device every time is power on the virtual machine?

This is due to the VMware Virtual machine automatic detection (auto detect) floppy drive (floppy) because there is no floppy drive on the computer
Here's how: Open "Edit Virtual machine settings", select "Floppy Auto detect", click "Remove", then "OK" to restart the virtual machine.
