Solution to FTP garbled access in Firefox 3.0
Using 2.x to access the FTP in Chinese is no problem, but now when using 3.0 to access the FTP, the Chinese directory will be exhausted.
The cause of this problem lies in encoding.
First, you can set the encoding to gb2312 in Firefox (generally, you can set it automatically when you select Chinese), so that the content in FTP can be browsed normally in Firefox.
This is only one aspect. When you click a directory to open it, Firefox will have a request to the server, which includes the directory address you want to open, the encoding problem comes.
In 3.0, Firefox uses utf8 encoding for the address in this request by default.
Therefore, you only need to disable the default Firefox item.
Method:
-Enter about: config In the Firefox address to open the settings page.
-Find the network. standard-url.encode-utf8 option and change the value to false (you can change it directly ).
