Solve the inconsistency between the hardware clock and the system clock in some linux systems-Linux general technology-Linux technology and application information. For more information, see the following. The problem is:
The UTC time was accidentally selected during linux installation. After the installation, the linux time difference was 8 hours. If you set the linux time to the current time and return to windows, the time becomes inaccurate.
To solve the problem, pay attention to the following three points:
1. no is set in UTC in/etc/default/rcS. In this way, linux uses the CST time (local time ).
2. The starting sequence number of mountall. sh in/etc/rcS. d/is smaller than that of hwclock. sh. This ensures that hwclock. sh reads the time zone information in/usr/share/zoneinfo/after the hard disk is mounted.
3. Make sure the connection/etc/localtime exists. If you do not store or use your own time zone, you can link it to the correct time zone file in/usr/share/zoneinfo.
This problem was encountered in debian, so I couldn't help but wonder how rough debian is as a desktop. I used the apt library testing, but the software in it was really old and poor. I guess I would not have installed debian as my desktop in the future if I didn't hear anything about debian.
