Rhel5 64-bit Linux does not have the libstdc ++. so.5 file in/usr/lib. This error is always reported when installing some software:
Libstdc ++. so.5: cannot open shared object file: no such file or directory
The 64-bit package cannot solve the problem. Finally, the experiment proves that the 32-bit package can be used.
The package name is:Compat-libstdc ++-33-3.2.3-61.i386.rpm
