Solve the problem of the maximum brightness of Ubuntu by default boot. The biggest headache for ubuntu is that it does not save the current screen brightness configuration data after it is turned off.
The biggest headache for ubuntu is that it does not save the current screen brightness configuration data after it is shut down. It is inconvenient to reset the brightness every time it is started. Moreover, the bright screen not only blinks but also shortens the LCD screen life.
After searching through the Internet, I tried many methods and finally succeeded. if you have encountered the same problem and still have not solved it, try it ~
1. first install laptop-mode-tools:
Sudo apt-get install laptop-mode-tools
2. change the/etc/laptop-mode/laptop-mode.conf file:
Sudo gedit/etc/laptop-mode/laptop-mode.conf
ENABLE_LAPTOP_MODE_ON_AC = 1
3. change the/etc/laptop-mode/conf. d/lcd-brightness.conf file:
Sudo gedit/etc/laptop-mode/conf. d/lcd-brightness.conf
Modify the following content: CONTROL_BRIGHTNESS = 1
BATT_BRIGHTNESS_COMMAND = "echo 3"
LM_AC_BRIGHTNESS_COMMAND = "echo 3"
NOLM_AC_BRIGHTNESS_COMMAND = "echo 3"
# BRIGHTNESS_OUTPUT = "/proc/acpi/video/VID/LCD/brightness"
Add the last line:
BRIGHTNESS_OUTPUT = "/sys/class/backlight/acpi_video0/brightness"
(Remember to save the file after step 2 and 3 are completed)
4. finally, run the following command:
Sudo update-grub
Restart the instance.
