Solve the Problem of errors after modifying the backup parameters of the DB2 database

Today, I tried to modify a backup parameter LOGARCHMETH1 of DB2 and changed it to USEREXIT.

After the change, exit, and then fail to connect to the database. Restart the database and report the following error:

D: Documents and SettingsAdministrator> db2 connect to sample

SQL1116N cannot connect to or activate the Database "SAMPLE" because of backup pending ".

SQLSTATE = 57019

After checking some information, I know that I want to make a backup immediately:

D: Documents and SettingsAdministrator> db2 backup db sample

The backup is successful. The time stamp of this backup image is: 20080604112950

Test again and solve the problem:

D: Documents and SettingsAdministrator> db2 connect to sample

Database connection information

Database Server = DB2/NT 9.5.0

SQL authorization id = ADMINIST...

Local Database alias = SAMPLE
