Solve the problem that Ubuntu USB flash drive suddenly does not recognize

Source: Internet
Author: User

I do not know what the situation is today (I suspect that the kernel version is upgraded). The computer cannot identify the USB flash disk, and all the USB flash drives do not respond (not a problem with the USB flash disk)

My system Ubuntu 12.04, kernel version 3.2.0-60-generic-pae

Neither fdisk-L/dev/SD * nor lsusb can see the USB flash drive. At this time, lsmod will check whether there is a USB-storage scsi_mod. My reason is that these two driver modules are not loaded.

1. modprobe USB-storage and modprobe scsi_mod load the two

2. At this time, fdisk-L/dev/SD * will find an additional device, which indicates that it is recognized now.

3. Try mount. For example, Mount/dev/sdb/mnt-T vfat. An error is prompted.

4. In ubuntu's "Disk utility" format, click OK.
