I often encounter getting started books or related books on Computer Vision (Machine Vision). I would like to recommend some of my own books below. Of course, they do not necessarily meet the needs of everyone. However, I sincerely hope it will help you.
(1) digital image processing, Gonzalez, Ma qiuqi, and e-Industry Press;
(2) opencv basics, written by Shi Qi, Liu Rui, Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics Press;
(3) Learning opencv computer vision with the opencv library, Gary bradski, Adrian kaebler, O 'Reilly
(4) pattern recognition, Bian zhaoqi, Zhang xuesong, Tsinghua University Press;
(5) pattern classification: Richard O. Duda, published by the Mechanical Industry Publishing House. It seems to be a textbook of CMU, a classic textbook in the field of foreign pattern recognition;
(6) machine learning, Mitchell, Zeng huajun, and Mechanical Industry Press;
(7) Computer Vision: algorithms and applications, Richard szeliski. The book was just completed last year and was available a few days ago. It seems that he hasn't seen the Chinese version yet. However, he can download it to an English electronic version on his home page. His home page has links in my blog (http://blog.csdn.net/carson2005.
(8) pattern recognition & machine learning, M. Bishop, Springer. This book does not have a Chinese version yet, and the original English version is a bit expensive. However, you can find an electronic version on the Internet.
I am at a limited level and can provide so much for the time being. Don't forget to recommend me to anyone who has a good book.
