I've been working on a preliminary question lately.
Find conversions for data units
It's all in accordance with 1KB=1024B's measurement.
In fact, this method of measurement was naive after 1999.
The right way is
1KB = 1000B
1MB = 1000KB
1GB = 1000MB
The above is the prefix standard of SI
。。。
And for 1024, it's actually like this.
1KiB = 1024B
1MiB = 1024KiB
1GiB = 1024MiB
The above is the standard stipulated by iec_60027
Mixing is actually because of a thing called Microsoft Windows, this thing mixed with SI Standard and iec_60027 standard
But because (d)the prevalence of Windows is too high
It's always been mixed up.
So basically KiB is KiB, generally see KB needs to be handled by the situation
For example, the hard disk of the GB is SI, and plug into the Windows system click on the iec_60027 is the standard
In the Mac, it's all based on Si.
There is a clear distinction in Linux.
Because mixing frequency is too high, womb change,XXX's CCF out of the paper must be according to 1024 out (CCF also said to Noi Linux)
Some confusion about the unit of data measurement
