Some progress on Nokia mobile data transmission (transferred from its home page)

Because we have previously studied Siemens mobile phones, we are familiar with the data methods of Siemens mobile phones, and have also developed PDU decoder encoders, OBEX transmission protocols, and so on. Recently, I spent 1875 yuan on a Nokia 6021 mobile phone, preparing to explore some data protocols of Nokia mobile phones.
I found a good open-source project named gnokii, a software dedicated to sending text messages to Nokia mobile phones. Its documentation provides fbus and mbus data transmission formats. I think it should be a valuable reference for Nokia mobile data transmission.
The second step is to find IrDA monitor and blueteeth monitor to monitor the data communication process. I don't know if there are any of these software, or I will install Linux to study gnokii and get what I need.
