Some settings on the Ubuntu character-only interface: the ubuntu character Interface
Because Ubuntu's character-only interface does not support Chinese display, some configuration is made to better display
1. Set the environment language to English
Add the following content at the end of the ". bashrc" file in the user directory, and then log on again
If [-z "$ DISPLAY"]; then export LANG = en_US.UTF-8 export LANGUAGE = en_USfi
2. Modify the font and font size of the terminal.
Enter the following command to select
Sudo dpkg-reconfigure console-setup
3. Modify the user's welcome information after logon.
Refer to the following blog:

In linux, the user's welcome information after logon is actually the "prompt information of the Day", that is, motd. motd can be a static text or dynamically generated information.
